Flew with a management captain two days ago. He says the "bean counters" have approved the hiring of 250 pilots per year for the next three years. Also, the Europe domicile with the Airbus will happen with a bid in early 2005.

does FEDEX have a domicile in the Phillipines? I had heard about some of the junior guys going there, but didn't know if it was fact or fiction.

Cool! Since UPS seems to follow FedEx by about 5 yrs on big changes to their system ( A300, MD-11, PI Asia hub ), that means UPS should have a domicile in CGN by the end of the decade.

Yeah, the Milleniem was UPS grounds, they recently moved to the Marriot in downtown.
With the amount of UPS pilots in ANC, they should make ANC a base......

Nothing like trying to sleep in the daytime in the Millenium, windows open due to no AC, overloaded Beavers on floats roaring 50' overhead... good times.

The Fancy Moose rocks, however. As does Chilkoot Charlies and the ABC.

Gemini had a whole crew thrown out in twenty minutes at the ABC once. The captain grabbed one of the girls.
