Another successful post. I love when these young ex mesa Westies get all fired up. It makes my day.

Cheers
Marty

martyass you have no idea what my background is but it does not include mesa.

You must be one of the few. Good for you. Most are Trans States and Mesa.

I hope you do not get furloughed.

Marty

Marty you are a Fuc&%ng a$$hole.

You will burn in hell

Cheers

I wouldn't get too excited remember nobody likes him, not Delta, Alaska, Southwest, or Etc. pilots. He's the kind of troll that is always getting beat up, but never changes(still a jerk).

PSA just announced a furlough of 27 pilots.

Are you kidding? How can it possibly make financial sense to only furlough 27 pilots? Wait, never mind. I should know better than to think that management is actually doing anything that makes sense.

If the 175 West and 125 East numbers are not increased, there may not be a need for furloughs. More than one pilot told me personally that he has other business interests and he would not mind the option of another voluntary leave of absence. If I am wrong, I will be the 22nd out the door.

Of course, the west 175 is a higher number of positions cut from a smaller pilot group, so that is unfortunate.

I'm approximately #170 from the bottom on the West. I'm sure I wouldn't be the first but it would be really, really funny to have recall rights to two different airlines.

Kind of like working at usairways and having recall rights to usairways.

Well the bid for the east side is out on the hub. Shows a reduction from 2800 positions down to 2644. All furloughs listed for Oct 1. So They've taken the attrition to make up some for the total number of furloughs.

Forgot to add, it also states EVLOA are being offered starting June 13th.

Number 23 right here...

I really hate to ask, but any word on potential flowback options for those impacted? Could the ex PDT pilots return to PDT since it is owned by USAirways? What about similar deals with other related regionals?

Good luck to all involved...

The orginal program was set up to allow ex-Piedmont pilots to flowback to their orginal seat at piedmont. US Airways didn't honor the flowthru, but allowed for pref-hiring. Thus closing the door on those Pilots coming back to Piedmont with there orginal seniority.
