RESEARCH ALERT-UBS cuts Delta, Northwest

NEW YORK, April 14 (Reuters) - UBS on Thursday cut its ratings on shares of Delta Air Lines Inc. and Northwest Airlines Corp., saying they were among major airlines which face a liquidity crunch later this year.

UBS cut Delta to "neutral" from "buy", citing potential demand for collateral as processing contracts with Visa and MasterCard expire, which could "accelerate Delta's slide toward Chapter 11."

You know, well maybe you really don't, that most of those INTL flights also carry cargo. Our 767ERs do just that. I just don't think the Song 757s have the range, but I will check for you. As far as the downgrades, that is what Grinstein and his people have to deal with. I am sure there will be ups and downs, and selling ASA/Comair will help with liquidity.
