Too bad for the IAD guys and gals. Getting yo-yo'd around meanwhile your buddies from ATL getting free hotel rooms, per diem and you're stuck paying rent. Thanks ALPA.
 
Yeah, this blows for people in IAD. It'll probably go senior, bumping down line holders to reserve or senior line holders to junior lines. Why not just staff the base appropriately?
 
Why would Delta help Expressjet by offering CAE turns to help our United operation?

Who knows. Maybe the SAME reason they gladly pay one of their contracted regional providers that competes DIRECTLY against them on routes.
 
Has nothing to do with ALPA. It has to do with not staffing IAD because the crjs will not be staying there.
