Haha

You wanna know who is traumatized here the poor Ba$tard that had to sit between them from PHX to IND could you imagine. That is the person who should sue or get a refund because I guarantee you if you were stuck in a middle seat between those two Large Land Mamales there is no way you got what you paid for.

I had this happen on a flight from BHM to BNA when I non reved on Southwest I got the only seat in the last row between two 300 lb whales that smelled like rigamortous was setting in. I couldn't even lean back cause they were so far in my seat.

Here is an idea for the Disgusting Fat Bodies out there put down the Twinkies and get on a friggin Treadmill. Stop blaming soceity for your obesity! Quit looking for the easyway out and the quick PAYDAY!!!!!! And get your Fat A$$ some friggin exercise!!!!!!!!

I believe the airlines should just publish a weight limit for tickets. You get 225 lbs of you and 70 of baggage, above that, we charge $3.50 per pound or what not.

Set the rule, and then human judgement comes out of it, and noone is surprised.

Then problem here is that everyone in this country is looking for a free ride..

The policy is that if the flight isnt full and you are a person of size they will not require you to buy a extra ticket..

If you dont buy a extra ticket and it fills up you cant go..This is to prevent the said person of size from creating a comfort problem for the two passengers sitting on either side in a full flight..

More than likely what has happened they were told about the policy and made the first leg but the second leg was full..THEY elected not purchase an extra ticket and got stuck..

If the gate agent or CSR didnt handle it properly that may be a different story all together..

But..SWA spends a great deal on training CSRs and i would find it very unusual if one mishandled somthing as sensitive as this..

I have seen several versions of this first hand and SWA does everything they can to accomdate folks..

If you take the gamble and you get stuck without a seat then its your problem..

Nothing!!!

Hmmm, not enough moeny to buy an extra seat, but enough to hire a blood sucking lawyer. Wonder what that will cost em......
The lawyer surely took it on contingency. . . .

. . . .you don't sue the person who's at fault, you sue the person who has the money to pay the judgement!!

If these people are out to get anyting more than satisfaction they better have hired a lawyer on a straight fee, because the last time I heard the average going rate for contingency was about 70 to 75% and that was a few years ago
