Management is more talented than the pilots?! Ha!

Seems to me that many managers in aviation are the ones who weren't talented enough to hack flying the line.

It doesn't take talent to run a company into the ground.

It does take some talent to run a company in to the ground but still walk away with millions for yourself. Also takes staggering greed, corruption, and a total lack of principles and ethics.

Yes, in some ways, management definitely has 'more talent' than the pilots.

Why are you so jealous of those that are more talented than you?

So it takes talent to mismanage a company and drive it into the ground?

Yes, the ability to sleep after robbing your fellow man.

"don't complain because others are paid more and you are the one dumb enough to be making it for them".

Yet more of your true colors showing.

It's people like you that make people like me have to join a union whether we like it or not.

I find it in very poor taste that you come out making such brazen statements after a bunch of people lose there jobs.

B19 lost his medical (potato chip induced diabetes?) so he uses that to justify his mid manager position. Even with a medical, he couldn't hack it as a pilot.

It's not a matter of talent, it's a matter of intelligence. I am smarter and they can't handle that, so they have to pay themselves millions of dollars per year to justify their lack of brain power. That is a fact and it is undisputable.

Ya gotta love how B19 picks and chooses the ones he wants to respond to. He loves to tell us all how every union is the same. However, he won't respond to why this is true, but all managers are different. The fact is, we see example after example of CEO's pocketing millions by ripping off their shareholders and ruining the lives of all their employees. Bernard Madoff is just the latest example... to the tune of $50 Billion Dollars.

Thanks for the laugh! That was REALLY funny!!!

I agree... it's hilarious! :D

You are still the worker bee earning money for them. Yep, now THAT's funny to think that you are working for those that are less talented!

What does that say about you? Shouldn't they be working for you?

Why are you here?

Why aren't you in the Airline Forums? Why are you piddling around in a forum that has absolutely nothing to do with you? You say you're at a 121 carrier. You say you were burned by a 121 carrier's union. Why aren't you taking your cause over there?

Talking to us about unions, instead of the airline pilots, is chicken-sh!t. Especially since you refuse to answer direct questions. The people here are serious, and you're just playing around. "Messin' with the frac guys," might be fun for you, but it's childish what you're doing, instead of having the nuts to take your fight to the airline guys. Sad, sad man. You're a bully. A coward that doesn't have the courage to face his alleged peers, and picks on others instead.

What are you afraid of? Why are you bothering us? You're violating the priviledges of this message board.

Deal with it...

I answer questions I deem appropriate and you seem to be hung up on my refusal to place personal information on a public message board.

I do place my opinions there also, but I don't do it on flightinfo. There are lots of boards out there, so get over yourself.

Sad, sad man. You're a bully. A coward that doesn't have the courage to face his alleged peers, and picks on others instead.

I don't pick on anybody, I express my opinions on unions that have redirected my career leading me to the conclusion that a non-union airline is the only safe place to work in the industry. In a non union carrier I have found that it's easier to expect a long term career with reduced tumoil and a lower chance of layoffs.

If "facing my peers" means that I have to place personal information on a public message board", then you don't have a clue as the meaning of life or the reality of a message board. Grow a little thicker skin and deal with it.

What are you afraid of?

No fear... I'm in aviation management. It's a lot harder than it was when I was flying.

Why are you bothering us? You're violating the priviledges of this message board.

You must be a socialist democrat to think that I'm violating the privelages of this board because I express a different opinion than you on a subject matter that has repeatedly destroyed careers in aviation.

Actually, you are being the bully because you can't handle my observations and want me to stop giving my opinions. Deal with it.
