I personally have a problem with those of you bashing all of us who work at a "low cost" regional. Who are you all to say that I am so wrong for working at a regional that happens to pay a little less than the next. We are talking about peanuts here.
If I can make a few grand less a year and upgrade in 14 months instead of 6 years, Ill take that any day.
Does anyone realize the long term benifits here, or is it just me? My career goal has never been to work at a regional, and the day I think that working at one for a career may be a reality is the day I go find a real job.
For now, im going to make my $60/hr to fly a 50 seater for the chance that I won't have to sit in the right seat for half of my youth. For those of you that are making a career out of a regional, I dont mean to offend you, but many of you have offended me and I finally feel it is time to share how I and many others feel.
Im sorry Comair and COEX and whoever else is not happy today, but I didnt get greedy.
I have to go. Thanks for listening to my rant.
