Remember that to clear one runway in MKE they have to shut the airport down. 25 and 19 share an intersection and these are the only two runways that are approved for air carrier ops.
It leads to a big mess when you get snowfall rates of 1 inch per hour or more.
(I know I grew up there, it is not something new!)
