Good link. That explains it a bit better.

With the T-1 training, all of our flights, except for 3, were flown from the left seat with us using PIC procedures (The IP basically played our SIC). Although we didn't have a "type ride", we had 3 checkrides consisting of transition (airwork - stalls, slow flight, steep turns, etc..., a few approaches and a lot of pattern work, consisting of some single-engine work too), a nav ride with a 500-1000AGL IR or VR low level leg and 3-4 approaches and then a "Mission Fam" ride consisting of formation flying with either air refueling procedures or low level flying.

Despite knowing a few right seaters who've gotten their types in the 707, I'm glad I haven't applied for it yet, because after reading about the 10 hour PIC requirement, I don't think they deserve a the full up PIC type (maybe SIC), since all of our KC-135 training was in the right seat. I don't think there are many commercial outfits flying B707's these days anyway. :D
