I have a question for the midex guys on this board. Have you been told how Timmy plans to have a increase in flying with you guys? All I have seen is more RJ flying and now more cities being announced but it is with a code share, again with more RJ's. Have there been talks or rumors going around about new Big Jet cities or just a increase in frequency to existing cities.

No, other than the Seattle non-stop from MKE and MCI and an additional out and back to LAX there hasn't been any other mainline growth. There has been shuffling of 717 flying and RJ flying. There won't be any more growth until they put in the "new' order for aircraft which has been announced as coming the end of this year (he said the same thing last year with three different announcement dates, but failed to place an order). Other than the 2 88's that are coming there won't be any mainline growth as there are no new aircraft and our utilization will be maxed out. According to the "long term growth plan" that he has apparently shown the union MEC there is supposed to be growth and opportunities for mainline, the rest of us remain skeptical.

Growth will come when AirTran deal goes through. In all sincerity...welcome to the Tranny..bring your cookies.
