It doesn't sound like the original investment deal will go through, but the new holding company will likely gleen quite a few dollars with the sale of the E-jet unit to RJET. It will be interesting to see how they structure furlough relief as obviously many more UAIR pilots will lose their jobs. My guess is RJET will change many of the orders to 190s after they take control, and they may make an additional new order.

Looks like an asset sale alone - that can't be good for morale at MDA. Thanks for your years of service and your dedication to keeping USAirways afloat but....

That is just sad. Asking the Bankruptcy court for 55 million in severance, then C-Yaaaaaaaaaa.

Mass exodus from MDA...

friend at MDA said they are averaging 3-5, Capt and F/O's. pilots resigning a week.

If they go to CHQ by date of hire from MDA, over half will leave. Only ones left will be the PDT/ALG pilots.

Those guys will be senior to all furloughees and will be flying the A-330 or something like that once the integration is done......haven't you heard?
