"Redline is a goal, not a limit!" Actually had to pull the power back in a Metro II to keep it under 246 in the (slow)-climb once in the NE. Dont think that will happen again! Just curious what the max GS you sewertube drivers have accomplished? 406 kts. in a metro II @ 230 here.

I've seen over 400 on a winter night heading eastbound over west Texas.
 
He never said the DME was functioning properly. 396 is my personal record, but my best prolonged speed is 354 one winter night on the way back from ABQ to the Dub.
 
In the Metroliner: 360 over the ground Rota to Naples with a 100 kt TW. During the winter I would routinely get 0.52 IMN in the descent. That and $1.50 gets a cup of coffee at starbucks!
