To all those on this board, mesaba2425 does not represent the mindset of one single pilot on the seniority list at Mesaba. He is either a mechanic masquerading as a ground instructor, a middle management desk nerd, or one of a handful of slimy pilots that are in management positions in MSP. I apologize for his lack of decency and decorum.

Accidents and mistakes do and will continue to happen as long as people are walking on earth. NW landed on the wrong runway in DFW a few years back. US landed on a taxi way in DTW. NW landed at the wrong dang airport in a fancy Airbus. The list is endless of my own inadequecies.

Thankfully, we don't have to worry about Karma catching up to Mr. mesaba2425 while he is behind the wheel of an XJ plane. With any luck, he will be the demise of himself only whilst he continues through his hallow and lonely life.

So sorry to hear the news of the Comair flight. It is indeed with a heavy heart that I pray for the families who have lost so much.

Thank you for the words. Mesaba crews are always great and I, as well as others here know that this guy does not represent Mesaba at all.

you don't need to defend Mesaba. It's a great company and every company has their idiots. There is no reason to blame anybody for what happened today; yet someone had to climb on their soapbox and declare that the FO was "careless". There is a lot more to worry about at this moment. Pray for the families and for our fellow pilots.

I do feel sorry for the FO though. He'll have to live knowing that his carelessness help lead to the death of 49 people.

Absolutely understood. Jumpseated many times with Mesaba and never met one un-professional crew among them

Thanks to all for acknowledging that this guy is NOT representative of Mesaba. I assure you that the thoughts and prayers of the Mesaba pilot group go out to Comair and the families of the deceased.

Respectfully,

Mesabi Miner

I find it very sad that anyone would jump or draw conclusions without all the facts. We have very little information, and that information is coming from the *&%^*& news. Hardly a reliable source for anything. This tragedy is hard enough as it is, at least honor the families of the victims by not jumping to conclusions.

Sincere condolences to all involved from all of us furloughed XJ pilots. After an event like this, it truly puts things into perspective. Life is short and precious.

God bless

I thought he was a rampy at some outstation. either way he's a tool. I would hope the mod could kick him off. Make him pay the 10 bucks to reregistar.

Too bad we can't put a bounty on mesaba2425's identity. Only a gutless, no class moron would post something like that, and I would like to know who it is.

For all XJ crew, the FA was a former employee of Mesaba - a CSA, I believe at CWA. Her family and friends need our prayers.
