Seems kinda funny that they wanted expidited negotiations with a December 19th?? deadline for having a new contract. Then they show up and are not prepared to discuss issues they knew were going to be on the table.
i hope our pilot group remembers that the last contract we signed was a growth contract and allowed for the continued stock piling of cash and holding up bigsky's losses......oh and for very competitive rates for the CRJ. I say the only thing we accpet is industry average for 70 seat pay and 85 seat pay. That will be generous enough! If they give us more or the judge directs us for less, i say f@# them and we all walk, it stime for someone to draw a line at how low we can go!
Monday (tomorrow) is going to be an interesting day. Management re-scheduled their meeting with ALPA for Monday. Also, if you xj people are free, be sure and attend the ALPA meetings in each of the three domiciles. Their may be some interesting things to talk about as we get closer to the 19th and the Avro decision.
