Honestly, where do you guys get these crazy ideas about "secret" hangars filled with airplanes that no one knows about? Let me guess: a "senior checkairman" told you? There are no secret airplanes or secret hangars.

I heard from a reliable source (all good posts start this way) that they hired a bunch of scantily clad women to run around the ramp at all hours of the day. No film being used around there. On a somewhat related note, kleenex sales in South America is at an all time high!!!!!!?????

Correct. The 80 aircraft have been dehydrated to save on space until an order is worked out. The are all in small shrink-wrapped packages, about 1/1200th the normal size.

I signed a new lease for my apartment a few weeks before that original furlough notice came out. Do you guys/gals know any legal way to get out of it? I have a job transfer clause, but no termination clause. So, I wish I would have been sent to a new base before the furlough.

i was thinking, i make about 800 every two weeks, not including perdiem, and unemployment pays like 400 a week, if i give plasma twice a week, i am ahead of the game, and do not have to worry. mmmmmmm i wanna get that furlough.
