Wow, sorry for you folks..I would not work for the pay offered at 100%...not trying to be a smart butt..but ya think it might be time for a career change?

Rvsm410

Just go away!!!! Your posts the last few days have been nothing but whine, whine whine. You tell people to quit whining in another post and how you wished you could dispatch, yet the whole time you were LOOKING for a job all you did was COMPLAIN!!!!!!

Do us all a favor and dont reply anymore. Be done with it and move on. You remind me of an obsessed girlfriend.

Homer, thanks as usual for your Biased opinion, you always missed my points, or choose to make your own "Negitive" interpretation of them. Your agenda as it concerns me has been abundantly clear from the start of this web site being consistant with that of a junior high school kid.
To my recollection, you have never produced a positive atmosphere of discussionor or an exchange of information without a sarcastic flavor, using this forum to vent pent up frustration behind your screen name...

I am sure everyone in the dispatch world is glad to know that you consider yourself God's gift to dispatch at least there at ASA. I am sure your releases are as classy and informative as your post have been on this forum and are an example of why so many pilots have complaints about the uselessness of their dispatchers...

Thanks for being such a positive force for all of us to aspire too.

Hmm... Where do I start?

First off, YOU were the one that called me "GODS GIFT TO DISPATCH". I likes it so much I decided to run with it.

You might want to do some research on the subject, there is a little more to the position that what you think, of course Homerdispatch will have the full 411 for you, widely known amongst he's peers as "Gods gift to dispatch"

(did you forget about that post RVSM410)

Second, I am not an employee of ASA! I have only been to ATL one time.

Third, I would put my dispatch releases up to the best of them. I am a trainer at my current airline, and have many, many friends who are pilots. They have NEVER had a problem with any of my releases! Sure, I've made mistakes, who hasn't? You have NO IDEA what its like being a dispatcher day in and day out. You are like the private pilots that think they could fly a 777 better than the trained flight crew because they did it on MS flight SIM.

It seems you never could make it in the industry....You always have an excuse...Too little pay, too far a cummute, etc. etc. Now you QUIT due to a medical condition (i understand not bashing that) but you have the nerve to come into this forum and tell everyone to quit complaining. You NEED A LIFE!!!!!

GO AWAY!!!!

I agree with Homer. RVSM410, are you bi-polar or something ? Homer is right... one day you say you'll take anything, and the next, you're like "NO Way". Finding a new career, in case you don't know, is not as easy you think it is. Back off with the replies, you expect too much out of life. Take it eassssy.

For those that care, please note the quoted post from Homerdispatch regarding rvsm410....this is typical of the BS that comes from the keyboard of this person......homer.

I dont have the time or inclination to post here very often, however I read most of the posts on flightinfo and I have taken an interest in this continuied attack of rvsm by homer...I have stated before and will state it again, that I know rvsm410, I used to dispatch with him at a regional some years ago before I went to Continental Airlines dispatch. I also know that he will not get into an online sparing match with anyone...

As his former shift coordinator and friend, I will only say that rvsm's dispatch work was nothing short of excellent, never late for work, always pulled his weight, and showed nothing but integrity as a person at work and away.

I will say he is different than anyone I have ever known, having already completed a 20 year career before becoming a dispatcher, his devotion to aviation was unquestioned. As life happens to all of us, adverse situations come up and he has had more than his fare share in health matters...

Over a a period of a few years, we were amazing how many interviews he received and how many offers that were made by regional and larger airlines, a testament to him and his work, however like many of you here, he was not happy with the wages offered especially in light of communting...I;ll admit this is an age old problem we all have faced, which is not getting better.

He felt it was better to make a statement than to sell his soul and accept the low paying offers, further provide those companies constructive feedback as to why he declined. Not somthing that many of us would have the balls to do, never the less he feels it made some positive impression.

Like him or not, he is true to his self and his beliefs...so it really pisses me off when people like homer decide to make personal attacks on someone they dont even know, a person with such integrity and good intention.

Now Homer, you might be a dispatch trainer the ace of the base...I see why rvsm named you God's Gift to dispatch...never the less I hope you are a nicer person on the other side of this computer network...you have a right to you're opinion...but as we all know this is a very very small community in dispatch.. you would be well advised to keep your identity secret, if you ever want to work for a major airline.. we look for your type and keep them out.

I'm not interested in bashing rvsm, but why would they want to change careers just because of a pay cut? If it's something they really enjoy doing, pay cuts may just be something they have to deal with.

You can't just run to something else everytime a speed bump pops up. This day and age would have folks changing careers every two years.
