I heard from a "reliable source" that Delta hates Mesa?! I heard that they are too distracted with Go. Discuss.
 
Delta doesn't care

DELTA doesn't care who does the flying, as long as its a bunch of absolute hoe's and pay their pilots walmart wages. delta doesn't care about anything, except the dollar, and the passenger only cares about price. looks like they found a perfect combo.
 
FLAME BAIT!

In Delta's current financial state, it's the cost that matters rather than the servce.
 
I hear that MCO on time is near 50% and completion is sub 70%...and that JFK on time is less than 50% and completion is sub 60%...plus Delta really likes the 1900's and the Dash 8's that always catch on fire.

Again with the "Reliable" source. Mesa will not get the boot. Delta doesn't care who flies the planes or even if they run on time. Look at ATL right now, major delays due to construction. Delta doesn't give a rat's behind about it's passengers once they've dropped their money down. Ticket in hand and you are on your own. Good luck getting there.

Mesa is a tool in the machine called DAL. Get people from point A to point B without stopping at point C. On time, delayed, it doesn't matter just get them there. Besides you can use the "Connection" guys against themselves to run the cost down. Paycuts anyone?
 
If completion factors are low enough and on time is bad enough, they will get the boot. As said, it is about cost. Just because your the cheapest on paper, doesn't mean your the cheapest. If you burn more gas by leaving the APU on for four hours, cancel flights like crazy causing you to pay for hotel rooms and meals for 50 people at a time, depart late causing passengers to miss connections who in turn write and call Delta then you are costing Delta more money. You will get the boot if it would cost Delta less overall to go with another regional. USair kicked them out once so it wouldn't be the first time Mesa got kicked to the curb.

There bad, but not quite that bad. Last week Freedom completed 99% and was on time 67%. Real numbers. -Bean

As for the flame bait, we will all see in a month or two who is in and who is out at Delta Connect.
