Gotta a Mesa Airlines interview next month in Farmington. Can anyone tell me:

1. the junior bases for all of the mesa air groups.
2. what side of the mesa air group they are hiring into.

Any other Interview gouge would be great (sim profile, technical questions, etc.). I've allready visited aviationinterviews.com

1. Have you ever stabbed anyone in the back?
2. Do you own your own tube of KY?
3.Would you like to work here for the rest of your life since nobody will ever hire your a$$ after you work at this no talent a$$ clown of a company?
4. Do the Red Sox suck?

Answer yes to all these questions, turn your badge around at the airport just like a sellout, and presto, your a mesa pilot.

Mesa Airlines Bashing

Ok, I'll bite...


There's a lot of Mesa bashing...
Does anyone have any facts about why Mesa is so bad. And I do Mean FACTS. I have heard it's because of the whole union, or lack of union problem.

I have also noticed that many people who are bashing Mesa are people with a lot of flight time. It's easy to bash when you are already working for an airline. But for people that are still CFI's, would Mesa really be a bad place to start?

Just look at their contract. It's filled with reasons why Mesa is so bad. Also talk to an ex-CCAir or ex-WestAir employee and ask what JO did to their companies. They'll give you plenty of facts.

You must be kidding, right? It's all regional guys who make 3-7% more and have 1 more day off doing the 'I'm better than so and so' crap! Highly hypocrital, as far as I can see.

Notice you don't see any of this 'we hate [insert name of competiton here]' on the majors board. There are better ways to better the profession than constantly blaming others.

When people attack Mesa, it's not really Mesa they are attacking, it's Jonathan G Ornstein. He has destroyed Westair, CCAir, and assimilated Air Midwest. He has done so on the backs of his employees. He has destroyed good companies and he is attempting to takeover another one(ACA). As for Sniper's 5-7%, try 12.5% less than ACA, and even less compared to Comair. The work rules at Mesa are among the worst in the industry. No cancellation pay, min 8 days off, junior manning, abusive schedules, failure to follow the contract as permissive as it is. I would never tell anyone to turn down their first 'airline' job. I remember the feeling when I was hired at ACA. And I didn't know that much about them. I lucked out. So good luck with your interview, but understand Mesa is a small step above freight and checks.
