Does anyone have any info on Mesa Air Group? specifically

Are they hiring?
and if so, What kind of flight tx are they looking for?
Is Lori Clark still the contact person at pilot rec?

Thx:confused:

Yes we are hiring -

Published mins are 1000 ttl and 100 multi.

Lori Clark is still the person to contact, email is the best way - [email protected]

I spoke with her recently trying to promote a buddy of mine that has an app in the stack, she told me that competitive times are closer to 2500 tt, 500 multi, an ATP and a LOR from a current Mesa pilot. She also stated that she has close to 700 apps with reccomendations and quite a few more without.

Best of luck

mesa hiring?

Also, don't expect true off the street hiring to start for a little while. There are quite a few(over 100) of the Mesa Ab-initio guys and gals in the pool waiting for a class date. Combine that with the UAL and US J4J deals, and there aren't a ton of vacancies right now. But down the road there should be plenty.

The ab-initio pool is almost empty now. Soon, there won't even be a pool of ab-intio's waiting to interview (I think there's still about 20 or so). Mesa is starting about 50 guys a month in GS in the ERJ, CRJ, 1900, and Dash-8. About 1/2 of each GS is CA upgrades, U J4J, and UA 'pseudo J4J'. The other 1/2 is newhires, most who were hired within the last month. So, that leaves about 5 spots in GS, per month, for street hires, currently.

Since the ab-inito's aren't graduating at the pace Mesa is hiring, more spots could be available for street hires. Unfortuantely for street hires, the proposed 30 new CRJ-700's added to the U system will ensure that U furloughs continue to be filling 1/2 of all CRJ positions.
.

I haven't spoken to Lori in a few months but I have yet to receive a call for the interview. Gary Lightfoot has talked to her as well as other senior Mesa pilots for me so dunno what is going on... I guess it would help though if I returned the packet that she emailed be a few months ago.. :D

Ahh.... one of these days.

US air

Are the US air guys going into the left seat of the RJs at Mesa? Not trying to start a war, just curious...

Free Advice....Don't get a rec...

from a Freedumb pilot............not even as a LAST resort......

I shouldn't have posted that in the manner in which I did... I will clarify (or try), I am NOT getting a LOR from him..... I met him a few years back and was just seeing what he could find out for me.(that may have even been a mistake). The point that you made and have presented is completely understandable on this end as well as taken to heart.

ps>Is Bryan Daniels now in the training dept. in PHX?

I think Mcdonalds pays better than MESA.

Take a close look at your TA.!! !! I am a tad surprised you post this knowing you are getting a contract that aint much better nor is it impressive at all... Selling out ?!

bye now
