Were any of the Freedom A-listers Mesa FO's who were able to upgrade by virtue (or lack of same) of the move to Freedom? If so, how was that handled when the lists were merged?

Also, how did the Freedom 900 rates compare to Mesa's existing 200 and 700 rates at the time?

I could tell you, but really, who cares about this crap anymore?

No offense, but your very question shows how little you really know about this whole sorry mess.

Uh, that's why I'm asking a question.

Per the agreement, I believe that, you came back to the Mesa Senority list with the same DOH. As for Captians staying as Captians, that could not hold it in Mesa I do not know.

I imagine you've noticed this is at least the second time recently you've asked an honest, sincere question and been (sorta) bashed for it.

Too many flamers on FI, I guess, and everyone is always immediately suspicious when a legitimate question is asked, particularly if it deals with a sensitive topic.

Oh well. Hope someone gives you the benefit of the doubt, and you get your answers.

I don't know about the original 900 pay so I can't cover that one. But I can tell you that there were people who bailed Mesa as FO's (and couldn't hold CAPT at Mesa) that went to Freedom as Captain's (and I know of at least one that became a training Captain). When they were reintegrated into Mesa they got what they could hold. A lot were displaced back to FO. Some up and quit.

We had right around 50 leave from the Mesa side and go to the original Freedom very few were FO's at the time, but those that were could and did bid captain on the 900. Once the lists were merged back together it was based on seniority so very few could hold captain and ended up leaving.

The pay rates are the same as the ones posted now on airline pilot pay.

Small price to play for the entertainment value FI provides.........
