I think at ACA it's by the last 4 of you SSN, but at Mesa I'm sure it's based on how quickly you can drop your pants and grab your ankles or drop your pants and screw the industry, your choice.

Mesa does seniority by date of hire in new hire classes.
 
Age also...

Lifer is correct, and to add to his post seniority per class date is determined by age.
 
Oops, I meant date of birth.

Of course it's done by date of hire, Jesus.......
