I have wondered if they would not put some 700s out there as the UAL contract goes away.
FWIK the contract on the first 5 where to expire this year but have been extended through 2012.

That's the persistent rumor we've all gotten. But still no official announcement.....
What's the story with Mesa's MEC recalls? Didn't they recall the Chairman?
Not quite. PHX recalled both CA and FO reps. FO rep is also the MEC chair. But 1 recall does not force the second issue.
Where do the pilots at the other bases stand on this?
Your credibility may be in doubt, unless GO operates 747's?I am 100% certain that there are no plans to eliminate or downsize Go. One aircraft was sent to C check saturday by way of Victorville where it will be painted white for use as an airways spare for the next 4-6 weeks. It will then be in C check until mid December. One Go aircraft is undergoing minor repairs in HNL (it will be back in service today or tomorrow) that leaves 4 aircraft with 3 lines of flying until December when Go will be back to 5 aircraft and 4 lines. We may add additional aircraft as we wind down the 200's at Airways.
Trust me this is a non issue, move onto to a more news worthy subject, please and stop spreading stupid rumors and lies.

unwashed,
Agreed, credibility is key, and credibility has not been established. I've recently spoke with a Go pilot, and the opposite is what was told.
