ac·er·bate
tr.v. ac·er·bat·ed, ac·er·bat·ing, ac·er·bates To vex or annoy.
ex·ac·er·bate
tr.v. ex·ac·er·bat·ed, ex·ac·er·bat·ing, ex·ac·er·bates To increase the severity.
