Was just reading the post by Enigma about management and their attitude towards pilots. Am curious about how management at the larger airlines gives the elitist attitude to pilots.
In an airline situation where they management cannot assign trips or bases and everything is based on seniority how can management play around with pilots (apart from the pay issue)?
In a lot of the European and Asian carriers I have heard that even within the pilots there exists an "old boys club." Is this true of US airlines as well?
Am not looking to start fires out there; just curious about what I am getting myself into pursuing an airline career.
