It was a hoax, prompted by a love triangle. The guy suspected of having the bomb onboard was arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants when they landed.

Epic backfire. The airline and all agencies involved should slap them with the bill to boot.

Window was open so crew may have fast roped SEAL style down the side, deftly avoiding the HOT pitot tubes. Usually that's what happens when a flight crew opens a window.

Why use the ropes? Just climb down the pitot tubes like the TSA.

Girl later finds new boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend mad.

Ex-boyfriend puts "comprimising" pictures of that girl on facebook.

Ex-boyfriend is on a flight from PHL-DFW.

Current boyfriend gets mad, phones in threat.

Current boyfriend gets caught and charged.

Ex-boyfriend arrested in Dallas on previous, unrelated arrest warrants.

All this over a facebook picture fight. Just clicking on the "remove photo tag" and "violates rules" as a reason would have gotten this picture taken off Facebook.

Calling in a terrorist threat on the guy is another way, I suppose....
