Are you serious!! Sammy's Back! Thats the best news I've heard all day. That Gary Sherone guy really sucked.

Man,

It's sad that driving a Cement Truck for three days pays more than an full time FO. Takes a whole what, week or training to get that CDL qual?

Imagine if he quit his FO job and worked full time driving a cement truck...$$

-or-

Imagine working as a manager at BK..$$$$

I alway say Great job, Lousy career.

Question

For all you real estate people. How involved was it to get the lisence? Can you get it done online, or do you need to take a several week course?

Just remember that these part time jobs help us get where we are going. They aren't and ending place. I've worked a lot of tough jobs on construction sites and the like and they are fun when you don't have to do it 12 hours a day.

I am going to SWA

I hope to get the offical call that I am joining the May 10th class tomorrow. That will make SWA a second job for me. My first job is I am a professional bike rider, fly fisherman, and deer hunter. I make good money for the first three, but I think I can make more at SWA as a second job.

I still think that being a SkyCap would be a great second job for new hires at regionals, especially if you are sitting ready reserve at the airport anyway. Those guys make $100 an hour in tips, CASH! You already have the uniform, just take off the epalets:D

Benhuntin

Sweet, I want your setup. Fly fishing, hunting, SWA. . . that's the life!!!!

I have been marketing DirecTV and Dish Network for the last year and I have consistently brought in an extra $1200-1500 per month on these programs alone.

It is FREE to sign up, and you can make up to $100 just by signing people up for Free Directv or Free Dish Network. The Free part is free equiptment, free installiation, and some programs offer free programming and a free gift (like a DVD player).

The programs are Free to join because it is great marketing for the Satellite providers. They pay you based on performance. If you are web saavy, you can build a website to promote it, or you can promote the programs offline using a 1-800 number and a special promotional code.

Click Here to sign up for DirecTV (Pays up to $100 per sale!)

Click Here to sign up for Dish (pays $50 per sale!)

PM me for more information!

Benhuntn... you're a Cat-1 road racer? or do you do something else? Every Cat-1 guy i knew made absolutely no money doing it. Of course they werent on the Motorola team or Postal Service or whatever they're called now....

I was joking...

Sorry to mislead you. I was joking. I am retired AF and for the past two years I have done nothing but bike, fish and hunt and live off my retirement. It is a good living if you put in the time. I get to keep my prey and it keeps me fit. I am an average rider. I can do 18-20 mph for 20-25 miles with a tailwind and a slight downhill slope.

Returning the Smarte Cartes at the airport. At $.25 a pop, it will become evident with our salaries that this may be your best bet at making a decent living.

ASA has (had?) a senior non-member CRJ captain that got a letter in his file for doing this at ATL in between legs. In his uniform.

He would also help cross the seat belts so he could look for change. Smart FA's would toss a few quarters back there every once in a while, just to "prime the pump."

Are there message boards like this one for real estate investors?

Yes, but I understand they are flooded with topics regarding BBQ, Religion and whose Real Estate Agency is bringing down the industry instead. Go figure.

And PFT.

I thought all real estate agents were required to pay for training., you mean some aren't? Where did I go wrong?

It just doesn't sound the same as when somebody is bashing SW or another airline for supposed PFT but I tried . . . sorry to waste everyone's time.

Home Depot...

Electric Forklifts, Orange Vests (with your name on it!), Medical?, and... BIG discounts on Power Tools.

Now, that IS lucrative.
