What is the lowest salary you would except to be captain on a 50 seat jet. Now be honest... Assume you fly the 1000 hours per year.

I'd be willing to chip in for training and work for per diem as long as the jet was shiny. I only wish the government wouldn't limit us to 1000 hours per year or force us to rest. When I'm too tired to fly the company will let me know.

Except to be captain...? I'm assuming you are talking about a 2 pilot cockpit so you must be talking about the lowest salary to be an FO. Besides the fact that flying 1000 hours of block in a rolling 12 month period is insane, I'd be willing to be an FO in a 50 seat jet for $50k. Once you become literate, I'm sure you will make more than what Walmart is currently paying you.
