Looking for the MD-80 video where tail breaks off on landing?

I read it was the demonstrated landing chop and drop for the certification. Throttles to idle at 50", etc.

Huh? I usually have the idles against the FI Lockout at 50", is that bad?

In the Beech 1900D it would be very bad. The C model floats like a 172, so you can chop it at 50'. Saab is the same.

Not true, that was hand flown, by a Fed.

And the airplane was repaired and delivered to a customer.
