SBBR - Brasília

No Marriotts and I have never been there any reccomendations

I dont think your choices are too vast...

Last time there stayed "Blue tree towers"

http://www.dilos.com/hotel/5544

It was fine, quiet and clean. It seemed fairly new but had the funky faux-modern decor. rooms were decent size, good a/c, and they have boat rides around the lake. high speed web also.

10 mins to the airport. restraurant decent.

ramp space was also very tight. Lider was the handler. No towbar for larger aircraft (GLEX...GV maybe?) be sure to bring your own.taxiways narrow.

Brasilia kinda $ucks IMHO....not fun like B.A. or Rio..

oh well, they cant all be winners I suppose.

enjoy!

I was there last year. The city is in the shape of an airplane...Really, no kidding. I cant remember the name of the hotel, only that they were doing construction next door and you couldnt sleep in late. The hotel van took us to a brand new shopping mall and we had some good Brazilian BBQ.

The above posts are correct, we had a tow bar and needed it. Parking was tight and the tractor that mows the grass is your tug. Customs was typical 3rd world like Niarobi where they put you in a van and take you to the terminal.

But that BBQ....Ummmmmmm
