I was told of a book about airlines, management and unions. I was told it has all of the info about tactics that Lorenzo and his crew used. I thought the name of the book was "Hijacked". I can't find it, but I may have the wrong name. Any help is appreciated.
It is Hard Landing and is by Thomas Petzinger. (There might be other books by this name.) Great read! Don't let the size get you, worth every word. Be sure to also read the notes in the back, lots of juicy info there, too. I found it in the business section, but ask if you can't find it.
You may be thinking of "Flying the Line" and "Flying the Line II" by George Hoskins. When we were on strike at Comair in 2001, George Hopkins came by our strike center and signed copies of the books for the pilots. He remarked that we were currently writing "Flying the Line III". I wonder if George is in the planning stages of "Flying the Line IV- Watching Pathetic Comair Pilots Bend Over and Sign Their Lives Away"
Anyway FTL & FTL2 are great books that I highly recommend you track down and read. They're very informative about ALPA.
