OK,

I got my " dream job " back in 2000 with a major and promptly stopped logging my flight time other than TOTAL .

Now that I'm back on the street, and filling out apps. How do I go about entering the night/actual/ etc flight times? The only thing I have accurately is the total flight time and airports. I did not break my time into instrument/night / etc..

These were all while flying B737 and DC-9 's. What do you folks think?

Pick a conservative percentage, like 3% actualy IFR and 15% night, and put it on a totals line along with a statement to that effect.

I've been logging my night and actual time to try to avoid something like this down the road but dont want to log it forever. What do you think is an acceptable point to stop logging night/inst? 1000hrs of each?
