why do you need an IPOD when you have an ADF to listen to good stuff like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage?

Dont forget baseball games and nascar races If you do your homework and look up the stations.

Cheap way: get some sony earphones that plug into your ears, put your DC's on over them and adjust the volume(s) as necessary.

You could try the muse. It has a soft mute feature that reduces the volume when ATC transmits or the intercom is opened. I have one I'll sell you for $125. PM me if you're interested. Oh, and it won't show up on the CVR.

Check out Sporty's. Their Headset Audio Interface is what you're looking for. It runs about $100 bucks.

Have you actually tried this device in a 121 cockpit? The reason I ask is that I purchased a similar device and I still had the same problems as before, once I get everything plugged in all volumes drop to almost inaudible levels.
