Listening to IPOD with headset

Anyone know how I can plug my dave clarks to my IPOD and still be able to listen to atc.

Dont forget baseball games and nascar races If you do your homework and look up the stations.

Cheap way: get some sony earphones that plug into your ears, put your DC's on over them and adjust the volume(s) as necessary.

You can get a Y adapter and an 1/4" to 1/8" adapter at radioshack that will let you listen to it with no problems. I spent a grand total of $10 on mine.

Plug into the jumpseaters outlet and turn on the hot mike once you've got the hardware.

You could try the muse. It has a soft mute feature that reduces the volume when ATC transmits or the intercom is opened. I have one I'll sell you for $125. PM me if you're interested. Oh, and it won't show up on the CVR.

Have you actually tried this device in a 121 cockpit? The reason I ask is that I purchased a similar device and I still had the same problems as before, once I get everything plugged in all volumes drop to almost inaudible levels.
