Hmm, Alaska... do they run those skeds so you don't have to actually live up there? Is commuting even and option with them - and would anyone in his right mind try to make it work all the way from MEM?

Sorry for stupid questions, but trying to understand how it all works.

Flight Concepts of Tulsa has air ambulance bases on the Navajo Reservation in NE Arizona. They fly King Airs. You either work the first half of the month or the last half of the month. Great company, good equipment.
 
Alaska

Depends on the operator if they have jump seat agreements with any carriers. If they have limited jump seat it will usually be with Alaska Airlines, which will not get you to Memphis. If you where to apply to any operators and get an interview, this would have to be one of your questions of course. Flying in AK has some different challenges than flying lower 48. A plus is that you can fly up to 1400hrs a year.
