I do recruiting work for the Gulfstream Completion Center and FBO at KLGB. Assists with the movement of aircraft on, to and from the ramp and within the hangars, in support of customers, Service Center Maintenance and Final Phase. Support hangar operations by providing support of customer and visiting aircraft as required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions
1. Meets arriving aircraft, directs them to a parking location. Greets the customer and assists in locating appropriate Gulfstream Personnel for customer contact
2. Coordinate with other departments and maintenance personnel to schedule aircraft movements.
3. Assist with training of other team members in Line Service on policies, procedures, ground support equipment and the fuel truck.
4. Communicate with other departments and maintenance supervisors to provide an accurate and immediate response for hangar stacking.
5. Prepare billing paperwork and fuel consumption reports. Maintain fuel related records and files.
Additional Functions:
1. Promote individual and team safety.
2. Perform the duties of the team leader in his/her absence.
3. Assures that all hazardous waste is properly disposed of according to company guidelines.
4. Use 5s guidelines to comply with the cleaning and maintaining of ramp areas.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
3 years experience with FBO type fueling services, aircraft ground movement and signaling procedures.
Other Qualifications & Physical Requirements: (show specifics of physical dimensions on following page)
1. Must have good problem solving skills and strong written/verbal communication skills..
2. Essential communication skills include the ability to read, write and understand the English language.
3. Must be computer literate an able to use Microsoft Office computer software
4. Essential personal skills include professional attitude, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to meet demanding schedules.
5. Must have the ability to work in various weather conditions.
6. Must be willing to work any shift and support overtime requirements.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to hangar management or next higher level of authority as noted in the site organizational chart.
Customers and Expectations:
External customers are aircraft operators, their representatives, maintenance, personnel, and pilots. External customers expect safe and proper movement, parking, and fueling of aircraft, assistance in locating contact people within the Facility, and a professional, courteous attitude.
Internal customers are any employees, contractors or vendors who need assistance on the ramp or in hangars. Internal customers expect cooperation in planning and accomplishing the movement, fueling and de-fueling of aircraft, assistance with ground equipment and building maintenance tasks, proper handling of hazardous materials, and timely communication of impending aircraft movements.
