lights out in phx last night

Does anyone know why the lights went out in PHX last night on either the taxiway or runway(s) causing delays? Heard from a friend who heard from a guy that said airline 'a' said that airline 'b' caused it yadda yadda

I know, I know.....Jonathan Ornstein was in town. He has this new airplane and they turned off the lights so no one could see it. It is for his new airline callef go F#$% yourself airlines and the pilots are going to work for free. Knowing JO they are probably going to use it as leverage to screw the pilots out of their cell phone plans and shoes. I think he is going to aslk the pilots to give the shirts on their backs to the scumbag. The new pilot contract will be called bootlicker 2006 casue that is what you are going to get paid. Oh that will also explain your QOL.

The runways lights were out on 26 yesterday and last night. Talk to AWA/US Airways crew on the way in from LAS, and they stated the lights had been out earlier in the day. This was around 6:00 pm LAS. They had been in and out of Phoenix, and had no idea why the lights were out.

I did not hear from anyone, that the lights were out due to aircraft damaging them. But it sure did make alot of peoples flights late.

Thanks. I figured it was some mensa overhearing a pilot joke about another airline that started the rumor.

I wondered what the reason was for the delays. I saw a few scattered clouds over PHX that evening and figured that was it.
