CJ denotes all jets at Eagle
According to letter 3, and as the flowback is written and signed by four parties (not two), APA pilots can flow back to Eagle with aprrox. 450 pilots. This is equal to the amount of pilots at Eagle who have AA seniority numbers and includes the incredible amount of 124 that actually flowed to AA. So, APA gets to put about 450 pilots to Eagle as captains on the jet. I think this does include the CRJ as well. So, the most APA gets, per the four party agreement, is 450 slots. They DO displace current jet pilots who are not "eagle rights" - ie guys who decided to NOT choose the flowthrough option.
The illegal two party Tentative agreement signed by APA and AA allows for ALL future growth at Eagle in the form of 50 plus seat jets to be captained by APA pilots AND APA gets the CRJ's. Current jet captains do not get displaced. There is no limit to the amount of APA pilots who could come over. It could, in theory, be thousands IF Eagle were to grow as such. These APA pilots will be paid at the first year Eagle jet captain payscale initially . It would be a boon for the company. APA pilots flying as Eagle jet captains at first year pay instead of AMR doing the right thing and upgrading the current Eagle FO's who have been grinding away at $25k/ year now for up to 6.5 years. This AA/APA TA would assure that the current Eagle Fo's would not upgrade to Captain for at least another decade. I feel that the aim of the TA was to get the current Eagle captains to sell out the current Eagle FO's. Thank god that has not happened, and for once there is solidarity with the Eagle MEC fighting hard for the Eagle pilots.
There is supposed to be a meeting at the end of the month, per arbitrator, between the four parties. If there is a favorable outcome for all four parties, then good. If not, then Eagle ALPA will still push for letter 3.
