All,

Local 1108 just signed extended agreements with its Washington DC Legal Counsel (Roland and Bill Wilder), Lead Negotiating Counsel (Jon Wentz), and Professional Bargaining Consultant (Rick Dubinsky). In addition, Local 1108 just allocated additional funds to the Flight Options Pilot Negotiating Committee and set aside a large sum of cash for a Public Relations Campaign.

Combined with the strong support of the Flight Options pilot group – well, my bets on the pilots and a future executive management team change when it’s all over. This is a long-term professional [Union] pilot effort. ....What was gained by a short-term airline management bargaining mindset of “delay, delay, delay” will cost in brand loyalty long-term. Good leaders lead; while weak leaders point fingers. DO NOT EXPECT A CHANGE IN PILOT MINDSET WITHOUT A CHANGE IN CORPORATE LEADERSHIP.

This is excellent news for the Options pilotgroup! I'm surprised you guys haven't commented on it. A public relations campaign--wow! That made a big difference for the NJA pilots. It should help the Options pilots, too. It gets hard to keep burying your head in the sand when clients ask what the hell you're doing. HIG needs to bring a big broom with them and the pilots will be in a good position to help them figure out where to start the clean-up process. NJW

Those who persist in keeping their head in the sand are good targets for the black boot.

The only people that have their heads in the sand are those that bring in a union and think it's the answer.

doesn't matter, how many are you gonna furlough?

One more than your seniority number..

After all, for ages I've stated that I've never had anything to do with FLOPS or even fractionals anymore, but if you are going to ask a stupid question, I'm going to give you are stupid answer....

...And those that can't put their foot in their mouth because their head is up their a$$. You know, like YOU.

I don't believe you. Here's why.

If you do a search on B19 Flyer on these boards, you will ONLY find posts in the fractional forum. If he REALLY works for a "non-union airline" why does he not post there? Why does he care about us if he has nothing to do with Fracs anymore? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WORK FOR A NON-UNION AIRLINE.

I used to work for the regionals. Do a search on me and see how many posts in the last 4 years are in the regional section. You will find 1. I don't go there anymore because I DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM, their industry, their problems, their management, their crappy pay, their bad hotels, etc...

His first post in FI was dated 05-25-2007, 14:39. Anyone know what happened on that date???

B19, I am calling you out. You are a liar. You are ignorant. You are a scab.

More than one log on?

Flattery will get you nowhere...

Nice to see you posting, DO. But why would you feel like a hypocrite... We already have one of those on the board, (who is also a word-twisting fudspinner) and that's one too many as it is.

Speaking of March 17th...I picked up some shiny green and white garland yesterday. I'm going to drape it around my husband's desk where he'll be doing lots of work on St Patrick's Day...;) If you run into him, don't say anything. It's a surprise. The NJ pilots are getting into the theme. One posted the green shoes he plans to wear--fun! Guys, I do think there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...:p and it has your group's name on it. However, it's like the lottery; you have to turn in enough tickets to win...;)

Those standing in the way of progress need to get the black boot.

To my knowledge this information has not been formally announced to the pilot group yet. I have heard some of it is still being keep quiet. I guess it is hard to keep good news a secret.
