I didn't know planehpn was really gone. He seemed to arrive in fits and spurts. Wish I knew the whole deal on that one.

Kilomike used to be our most vocal liberal. He was a lot of fun to try and reason with.

A flight attendant + a jetway in STL= "wrongfully" terminated CHQ ERJ captain!! !!. Be careful on what is posted/said OR you will get pestered to he!! and back in personal messages by a few CHQ F/A's who frequent this board... IF only he was a female captain there then no worries- LOL Chris, can I say that?!!!!!


Anyone still have the website address? His site was quite "interesting" to say the least.

If its the same planehpn that posted on AOL then I know the deal. He has a severe mental impairment and is totally hooked on the airlines and aviation. The only reason I know this is becuase a buddy from my old regional airline I used to fly for would run into him all the time while he was a CFI out of HPN.
 
I knew that Skull One had really lost it when he started referring to his ex-lover as a "crack whore."

TheGuat occasionally makes an appearance under his new name "wmuflyguy."

I had no clue about Jimbo until I did a search and found the following:

That is not jimbo's stuff, he didn't talk like that, he talked normal and just posted funny stuff.

I remember him posting about throwing crap out of the cockpit window of a 757, can't remember much else.

I believe that you found the imposter. Jimborealgoodpilot was gone before the board changed format if I remember correctly.
The real Jimborealgoodpilot was an obnoxious dude, but funny as heck when he got on a roll.

He liked to open his dv window and throw crap on everyone else.

Jeff G was one of my favorite posters. He started posting about 5 or 6 years ago, when he was a Twotter Capt., then was hired by PSA, upgraded, went to JetBlue, where he is now a Capt.

I do believe he is actually a she. Her family has $$$, had a building named after them at a New England state university. Earned a masters from a well known aeronautical university but was unable to get a job as a CSR at the FBO I worked at years ago. Turned down a CFI job at my old flight school because she was collecting unemployment and was getting a free Citation type from the state (because of her gender), at least that's what she told our Chief CFI. Prime example of book smarts vs. street smarts/common sense. Last clue for those in the know: "Look everyone, it's Pokemon".;)
 
My favorite was Jedi Inane/Chunk. I wonder if he's made it through Pan Am Academy yet.

If that other gal through she was getting her free type from a certain type school, I am quite sure she didn't get it and now has a checkride bust on her record (no matter how well she flew).

Somewhat poetic justice.

I wouldn't say that after the way the Broncos pasted the Chiefs at Mile High. But for the officials missing a clipping call on the Dante Hall runback, the Broncos would have beat them in Arrowhead.

The Broncos "D" will be improved with John Lynch and Champ Bailey alone. Of course, the Chiefs' defense can do nothing but improve, now that Vermeil has canned Greg Robinson.
 
Back in the old format propsrforboats(sic) was lively.

That's interesting. The attitude in the posts was pure New Engalang curmudgeon. Maybe she modelled herself after a male role model. Maybe I was just mislead by the presence of the "mike" in Kilomike.

Anyone remember "propsare4boats"? He used to post wayyyyyy back in the day (when the flightinfo board had that old sky blue background).
 
I would have to say fcharter was the most fun guy I ever saw on this board. Don't know what ever became of him, but he sure thought himself hotsh!t for flying a falcon instead of being a regional puke. He always pledged that he would get to a major sooner then any of us do to his shrewdness.

BTW, my uncle was there at Leyte Gulf when MacArthur
'returned.' According to my uncle, the old General took six takes of him wading through the water for the cameras in order to get the perfect angle. :rolleyes: To bad he never tried the political circut, because his ego was definetly large enough.
