Is there anyway the newly formed or about to be formed Compass MEC could pass a resolution to keep the 195's off property OR if unable to do that then insist on a payrate of $300 hr for the left seat and 180 for the right? Refuse to fly it until those payrates are met. It is in the CPS pilots best LONG TERM interest that these a/c are at mainline. They are YOUR flow up jobs and if they are placed at CPS, it will be MY furlough job and YOU will be on the street. This is a LOSE/LOSE situation for all involved, with the exception of DAL/CPS management who will no doubt reward themselfs with healthy bonus (paid for by US).

It IS a lose/lose for Compass to get these airplanes, hopefully that is recognized by all. Why cant their MEC do just that? 190/195's at mainline!

If Delta brings these planes to mainline they will HIRE, if they go to Compass, Delta will furlough AND Compass will furlough. The right answer for both pilot groups seems very easy.

I would be floored if they would do that. They are now a pilot group that has a few ppl that want to make it a career, and that goes against doing such.

Just so I have this straight- you have an ALPA MEC representing 12,000+ of the best fairly well compensated pilots in the world- and the idea is to pin the responsibility of keeping airframes flying the delta flag off the compass certificate on the 365 Pilots at compass. ?? Seriously? That's the plan? I mean get them on board, but if you think compass will have the leverage- you're ....

So instead- now I'll just point out the obvious- that it's dumb to think that any group besides DALPA can lead this - and I'm happy you at least agree that they should be at mainline- I can only hope the stupid stick that keeps beating you over the head.... If DALPA didn't have a hint of how angry DL guys get at the idea of this before this week, they do now.

This little rumor caused a massive influx to calls to DALPA with very clearly worded responses.... no more jets, no more seats.
