Check out this job offer I just found!! I guess things are going this direction in the corporat world!
"Part 91/135 Operator in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking to hire a full-time Learjet 35A First Officer. For applicants that do not have current training or 8410,
applicants must pay for and successfully complete SimuFlite initial/recurrent.
First year's salary $25,000.
Medical insurance provided after 3 months and all training expenses paid for after first year. Must be a motivated, dependable, team player ready to fly your butt off in an extremely nice airplane."
That is the most rediculous thing I have read in a while. I know that 2500 hours is not alot of time for a career, but they really want someone to pay $10,000 to make $25,000 per year being squished in a Lear 35? your chiropractor bills will be more than that!!! oh well, if you are "flying your butt off" you might not need to rent an apartment, maybe then you could eat.
I hope they DO NOT get anyone to fill this position!!
spread the word!
