I really don't know what your problem is. This thread is about the LCC Crew News broadcast on theHub. Wsurf, twice now you have interjected a different thread "grinding your axe" about flow through at LCC.

You want to attack me and others? Start your own thread and do it there and quit hi-jacking this one.

Again, I don't know what was said at the crew news report on 3/22, but part of the rumor is that Kirby said 190 F.O. seats not filled by furloughed pilots would be filled by flow through from PSA and PDT, hence WSurf's comments.

Nothing personal! And didn't want to hijack the thread! But if you look at any thread about Mainline FlowThru with the Wo's you are there in 2 seconds to tell everyone that it wasn't gonna happen!! Thats my problem!!!

So, take your problem to another thread. The only time "Mainline flow through with the WO's" came up in here was when you started hijacking the thread. Go away if you can't stay on topic.

I was there at the meeing, didn't hear that (I think he just said something like how he wouldn't neccesarily be opposed to that), and don't know why it's not on the hub yet...
It was an interesting excange though between the PDT guys and Kirby. He totally dodged their question, when all they were looking for was ANY reason to believe that they'll be around after 2 years, anything at all, even a simple "don't worry". They mentioned loosing 10% of their pilots in the last 2 months and how they need some kind of glimmer of hope, anything at all, but Kirby couldn't even deliver that, nothing, not even any b.s. answer; wasn't very uplifting...next Thurs will make 2 weeks; I hope his "news" to us isn't just the new VP

Truth must hurt?

And Quinn's question was reguarding the flowthru! The rumor was that Kirby was confronted by several WO'ed pilots and he told them that CEL pilots should recieve letters soon to fill 190 FO postions that none of the APL guys want! Kirby was not for the flowthru but rather preferential hiring, however he told them how it was written in the contract they should expect hearing something in the near future!

Now, I know that rumor really makes you sick!! God Forbid any wo'ed pilots get to sit in the 190 for 41.00hr!!!!

VP annoucement was the big news!!! lol

Surf, if the VP news is what we were waiting for then this company is on the way out the door. We would have less than 2 years left, because we would park planes in the near future.

Yes! We own 32 or 33 worn our Dash 8's! Kirby stated he wanted to replace CRJ 50 seat flying with Q400's... I believe if we don't hear something soon then this place will slowly downsize and be done by 2010! They sure as hell haven't painted any planes. The first plane was suppose to be painted last march. Two options, a fleet replacement or downsize and shut down!

A friend of mine from FIT (where I went to school) called me and said there are posted minimums of 250tt/50me for piedmontster in their instructor lounge. This is getting ridiculous now. I keep trying to get people to come over so I can get that $500, but everyone wants to hold out for expressjet or eagle or somewhere with turbofans..... I hope something good happens here because I'm getting sucked in now

Option 3. Merge with PSA....

They just uploaded it to the hub. Doesn't look like Q400s or a flow through. Scott talks like he doesn't care, and he just wants to move on to the next question.

At least he does come out and say they do want Q400s and they do want them at PDT. He points out how hard it would be to make it happen, which sounds like excuses why it won't happen already, though. I'm glad John P. pointed out that PDT is losing an incredible amount of pilots and can not attract new ones due to all the uncertainty, and are losing talented senior captains who previously planned on staying. I hope it actually made a point and a dent; PDT is going down in flames if something is not done really soon. Telling us about the new V.P. in charge of express is not going to cut it.
