I went to the parking office today to buy my yearly pass for lot D. They told me that the lot was closing in February. They said I could buy a lot D pass for January but after that I would need to buy a pass for lot E. They also raised the price for lot E from $15 per month to $28.75 per month ($345 for the year). This will likely add 1/2 hour to my drive because I live north of LAX.

Here is a link to the info about Lot D.

I guess Lot D is still available for "premium employee parking" at $124 per month. No Thanks. Also, looks like there will be a $10 per month increase each year for the next 3 years in Lot E. So, by 2013 we will be paying $60 per month for that crappy lot. This career just keeps getting better and better...not!
