Just the other day I was on Airline Pilot Central, and it said ASA wasn't hiring with possible furloughs. Now it says they'll be hiring 20 a month and a LAX base coming soon with 10 new Mexico destinations. Look for confirmation of this in CT's 3rd letter next week...

Where do they get their info? Cause nothing official has been posted.

SH said do not expect a LAX pilot base.
- Source pilot who was recently in RGT where he came in and answered questions.

Working for ASA is like playing on Monty Halls' "Let's Make a Deal" -

Behind Letter # 1 we have - Concessions, no more airplanes, & reductions in travel benefits.

Behind Letter # 2 we have - scare tactics, Instructor pilot pay squeeze, and threats of a rogue airline moving into the territory

Behind Letter # 3 we have - Oh my god, its..........................................

What a flippin joke this is becoming. Vote YES to strike!!!

And you would take Scott Hall's word? hahaha

Well that just about guarantees an LAX base. If you hear it in ASA recurrent, expect the opposite.

If he keeps it up, SuperPooter will have every member on his ignore list and we won't have to hear his bs any more.

Suits me fine if he never sees my posts... then he can't respond to them.

Not if alpa has anything to do with it.

Im sure they are demanding seperate payscales. Don't worry ASA if you don't want to do the flying we here at comair will be happy to pick it up.

Hey D expect the announcement soon that you will be working for MESA.

I wish ASA had been that lucky. At least we would all be on 1 list with a 2 year or less upgrade.

You still lurking here you mgt worm? In case you haven't realized it yet, no is listening to your immature management tactics. So, get back in your little hole at the G/O, and do something productive.

Why is anyone that disagrees with the union point of view a management worm? Can't people think for themselves anymore?

Anybody Can Post Sh!t On Airline Pilot Central Just Like Flight Info! Its All For A Rise In Us!

It's posted by the administrator of airline pilot central, not on a msg board. It's under quicktake on the ASA page. Not somewhere just anybody can post it.

I don't know about the LAX base, but ASA is most definitely not hiring 20 a month. Instructors have been told no newhires for a while.
