NWA has sent recall notices to approximately half of the 900+ pilots they had on furlough. Roughly 485 still on the street.

Independence is 742 furloughed from a total list of 1524.
In the grand scheme of things at independence air seniority
means nothing as #1496 on the list, furloughed I might add,
is flying the A319 as a Captain and #1523, again furloughed,
is a domicile chief pilot........

Things that make you go hmmmmmm.

216 still on furlough
4450 pilots on the senority list
everyone that wants to come back should be on property by April

For United, the current number on furlough (according to UAL ALPA website): 2133
The United 2004 seniority list had 9264; I think this was end of June. However, a lot of pilots took early retirement, so there is probably around 9200 on the seniority list now.

A NWA ALPA email said as of the end of Dec 04 there were still 643 still on furlough. In addition, notices of recall have been send for Jan-March. At least it is moving in the right direction. The company said they were planning on recalling 200 thru June 05. Word is they may recall as many as 450 for the whole year.

4 FEs and 2 pilots at ATA were furloughed last November, 32 pilots hit the street at the end of January, and (I believe) 99 hit the streets Feb. 4.
