I've been reading some gouges, and as of late, it seems that a lot of flyi guys are going to air wisky. These guys have 8000 hours and 3000 PIC Jet. Why not move on to bigger and better? They seem more than qualified.

Sorry for the jab. Seriously, there are about 20,000 + "more than qualified" pilots out there looking for "bigger and better" or ANY jobs. 10,000 TT and 5000 jet PIC guys like me are a dime a dozen. I can't just write my ticket and move on to bigger and better airlines just because I am "more than qualified". Meanwhile, the ERAU and UND pilot factories are turning out young whipper snappers who could care less about entry level pay. People like you are lined up for miles and miles willing to come fly RJ's for peanuts and there will be no pilot shortage in the future. The JO's of the industry will continue to fill up their ground school with eager beavers no matter how low the pay.

Naaa, I dont want to fly an RJ actually, but thank you for those valid points. The key word in your initial reply, was 'naive' (on my part).
