Try Batista's Hole in the Wall. Italian place, great food, and unlimited house wine with dinner (which is actually very good). And they hooked us up with a free hummer limo back to our place afterwards... Batista's will surely be a place we go to every time we go back to vegas from now on.

If you like German food and atmosphere, try the Hoffbrau Haus near the Embassy Suites and Hard Rock Cafe.

There's also an excellent Irish Pub/Restaurant inside the New York New York Casino; I can't remember the name, though.

One of paxs took us there last year, thought he was crazy until we got to the door and it was a 45 minute wait Looking forward to hitting it again this year.

Nine Fine Irishmen is the pub. Live band 6 nights a week. Good fun, although Guiness is up to $7 a pint.

Had a really good steak ( as good as Ruth Chris ) at the Imperial Palace steakhouse over Christmas. We were quite surprised with the quality and service.

If you want steak and do not mind having to wear a little better than pilot clothes (free wrinkled t-shirt with jeans), go to Del Monico's at the Venetian. Excellent, though spendy.

O.K.... Where are the best buffets for lunch and Dinner.???[/quote

The buffet at the Alladdin is my favorite as far as buffets go. However the food selection is limited for the lunch hours. After 5:00 pm the dinner selection is made available. It includes many better choices than the noon to late afternoon buffet. Beyond that, I simply don't know. Hope this helps.

Enjoy

Sure they do....they serve....ummm....well....I think it's called....ummm...whatever it is, it goes well with beer....and tits...but I can't remember exactly what the food is called.... :D

h25b--How many stops are you gonna make on the way out? :D

The italian place in NYNY is pretty good. I think you have to dress WAAAAAY better than "normal pilot" to get into TAO.

Oops. Sorry, for most of these places, you have to be 21. Sorry, h25b... ;)

Legacy--Was that you leaving SBA late this afternoon? TC
