Call me crazy, but this just looks like the wrong tool for the job. A swept wing jet is made for speed, not high maneuverability and wing stregth, which are 2 desireable characteristics when dealing with fire attacks.

Yep, it is a bunch of water in one spot, but is that what is needed when fighting fires??
