What are the differences between the C90A and the C90B? As I understand, the aircraft type certificate is C90A (even for the C90B). So what is the C90B designation? Is it EFIS or something more?

I believe all C90's are built on the same type certificate, if I recall.

I believe you are correct in that the "B" comes standard with the three-tube Collins EFIS.

You are right. The data plate on theside of a C90B will say C90A.

.
With the C90B you get 4 blade props, vibration isolators in the cabin , redesigned pitot inlets, and 500 pounds more useful load ( than the early 90A's) I don't know if any A's are certified for 10,100 gross without the raisebeck mod. The B models are 15 to 20 knots faster.

.
The pressurization on the B is a 5.1 dif. Not sure if that's more than the A or not.
Fly safe..
