Kidney Stones?

And they say pilots have no stones these days!
 
I would also suggest cutting back on your intake of coffee, or any other high caffiene content drinks. They tend to dehydrate you quickly..Plenty of water is the better
 
Both Vitamin C and calcium have been mentioned in this thread. I take 1070mg of supplemental Vitamin C and 1200mg of supplemental calcium daily. Does anyone know if I am increasing my chances of developing kidney stones by doing this?

Here's what my urologist told me: "If the [supplements] you take are water-soluble, your kidneys are doing the work. How well they do it depends on your genetics, your overalll diet, and your general uretic chemistry."

Good point. However; anecdotal data, if verified, can be useful as well.
