DrRaptor,
The only reason keyLime got the Denver hub was because an employee from Superior got kicked out of Superior, went to Key Lime and told them for how much Superior was bidding for the contract. Of course Key lime was able to bid lower and got the routes. Then they had to find aircraft (most from Superior came over), so for a while they had contracters flying. Why could key lime underbid Superior: very low pilot pay, pay to sit right seat f/o's (who are also the ones cleaning windshields and pulling GPU plugs), double up in hotel rooms, not paying bills (I know people who are still owed money, also from what I understand one of the contracters quit for that reason).
They don't have maintenance in DEN, for everything they have to repo to APA. With 20-30 aircraft on a ramp at one time you would think there would be a mechanic available with a stocked van to change a tire, light bulb, or fix other small problems.
I also have heard some weird stories how maintenance is (not) done and what happens if you write something up a few times.
Oh yes, the pilots are a good bunch of guys.
If you don't have a job, take theirs till you get something else, if you have a job, keep plugging away till you find something else.
